Ana Arsovska-Jajchevski made a remarkable career switch: from nurse in England to mechatronics technician at Frencken. Her step turned out to be worth its weight in gold. “In this world of precision, I discovered new talents and qualities.”

“As a glue specialist at Frencken, I am at the foundation of advanced technological components. Precision is crucial. The parts we bond quite literally form the connection in our high-tech products. I entered this specialized world with no prior experience, but I picked up the technical process surprisingly quickly. Developing leadership
“After moving from England, I was looking for a job where I could challenge myself, while also having enough time for my family. Frencken offers me that combination. This flexibility makes it possible to be there for my children, while also developing professionally. Now that I regularly mentor new colleagues, I notice how much I enjoy it. That is why I want to grow into a management position and strengthen my skills for this. I will continue to delve into it, but I know one thing for sure: Frencken offers the possibilities, for example with training courses. Ambition is recognized – regardless of your background.”

Attaurahman Rahmani works as a mechatronics technician at our organization, where he assembles high-tech modules and systems for medical applications. “I’m always doing something different on the production line. At Frencken, I can keep learning.”

“After years at another technical company, I wanted to grow. I have a positive attitude, I don’t complain, I look for solutions. And I succeed at Frencken, where the variety keeps me challenged. I work on the line where we build products for the medical market. Testing, assembling, pre-assembly — I do it all. It is exactly that variety that makes my work interesting. I had to get used to it in the first few weeks, but now I have mastered almost the entire production line. This allows me to contribute to improvements, just like my colleagues do.”

Opportunities to go deeper
“Team leaders, supervisors, direct colleagues, everyone takes each other’s ideas seriously. For example, together with colleagues, I proposed having the cables for specific product options delivered ready-made and cut to the right length. Previously we had to measure, process, and roll up a long cable ourselves, which was a time-consuming task that took us three quarters of an hour each time. It’s great that our idea was picked up. Improvements like this make me feel at home here. And if I want to delve deeper, I know Frencken will give me that opportunity. I have plenty of reasons to stay here.”

André Silá immediately found his dream job at Frencken, moving from Portugal after completing his studies. It’s the kind of environment where he makes the most of his opportunities as a machine owner. “The freedom at our company is really special. And I’m sure my colleagues feel the same way.”

“Frencken contacted me during my studies in industrial mechatronics. Compared to what I could have done in Portugal, this was a huge opportunity and right in my field of expertise. That is why I now work on high-tech machines for customers in the semiconductor industry. My first project was a great fit, which led to me becoming a trainer for our department. I was then invited to join a new, more complex project. Looking back, my journey has matched what I hoped for when I started at Frencken in early 2022. There is a real focus on well-being here, with plenty of room for growth.”

Freedom to do it your way
“As a machine owner, I am responsible for the performance of the machine and for guiding new technicians. I also serve as a backup for my team leader, who supports me well in developing my leadership skills. At Frencken, you’re given the freedom to do your work in your own way. Of course, you need to show initiative and make the most of opportunities when they come up. But if you’re eager to learn and open-minded, you can truly grow here.”
